Made-to-measure bathroom glass

Shower Enclosures

Jubili fabricates made-to-measure glass shower cubicles for different bathroom sizes, layouts and access needs.

Measure after finishes

Final sizing is best confirmed after tiles, curb and adjacent finishes are complete and ready for accurate measurement.

Contain the water. Keep the room feeling open.

Jubili fabricates made-to-measure glass shower cubicles for different bathroom sizes, layouts and access needs.

Door movement, fixed panels, support hardware, glass edges, seals and available clearance all have to work with the finished bathroom. Floor falls, drains and waterproofing remain part of the bathroom construction and cannot be replaced by the enclosure.

Frameless, semi-framed and framed appearances can be considered where the opening and support conditions allow. The safest practical layout is confirmed after inspection and final measurement.

When should a custom shower cubicle be measured?

Final measurements are normally taken after wall tiles, floor tiles, curb and nearby finishes are complete, because small dimensional changes can affect the glass and hardware fit.

What we design & fabricate

A system shaped around the way the space works.

These are starting points, not fixed packages. Dimensions, configuration, material choices and installation details are developed around the surveyed conditions and agreed scope.

Frameless appearance

Minimal channels and selected support hardware create a light, uninterrupted glazed look where site conditions permit.

  • Hinged, pivot or fixed-screen ideas
  • Clear or privacy appearance
  • Support bars and channels as required

Framed & semi-framed

More visible perimeter framing can provide a defined enclosure edge and practical sliding arrangements.

  • Sliding or hinged possibilities
  • Perimeter profiles and tracks
  • Handles, rollers and seals

Layout-specific screens

Corner, walk-in and compact configurations planned around sanitary fittings, access and door clearance.

  • Fixed return panels
  • Corner and alcove layouts
  • Clearance and splash-direction review
Decision guide

Choose the priority before the detail.

Comparing the intended outcome first makes the eventual specification clearer and more useful.

Priority viewEnclosure type follows access, water paths and the clearances around existing fittings.
Start with the outcome

Start with safe access, water control and cleaning.

Door action and glass arrangement should respond to the wet-area condition, available movement and the way the bathroom is used every day.

  • 01
    Entry clearance

Check the approach, door swing or slide path and nearby sanitary fittings.

  • 02
    Water path

Review falls, kerbs, shower position, splash direction and sealing junctions.

  • 03
    Care & safety

Balance glass selection, hardware, privacy and the surfaces that need regular cleaning.

Hinged

Offers a direct opening with a clean visual line where there is enough safe swing clearance.

Best suited to
Medium and larger bathrooms
Plan for
Swing arc, nearby fittings and drip direction

Sliding

Keeps the door movement within the enclosure footprint and can suit tighter circulation.

Best suited to
Compact bathrooms and alcoves
Plan for
Track cleaning, overlap and opening width

Walk-in screen

Uses a fixed panel and open entry for a simple, spacious appearance where the room layout supports it.

Best suited to
Larger shower zones
Plan for
Splash reach, floor fall and room temperature
System anatomy

The details behind the finish.

Each line item is considered together. The quotation should record the final selected materials, inclusions, interfaces and responsibilities for the specific site.

Finished dimensions

Glass is prepared from verified measurements taken against completed tiles, curb and surrounding finishes.

Safety glass

The final glass type and preparation are specified for enclosure use and stated clearly in the quotation.

Hardware support

Hinges, rollers, channels, brackets and support bars are selected around panel size, weight and wall conditions.

Water management

Seals and sweeps help control normal spray, while floor fall, drain and waterproofing remain essential bathroom elements.

Door clearance

Swing direction or sliding overlap is checked against toilets, basins, taps, towel rails and user access.

Care & replacement

Non-abrasive cleaning, residue removal and periodic checks of seals and hardware support long-term usability.

From brief to handover

A clear path from idea to installation.

Good fabrication starts with the right information. Each stage narrows uncertainty before site work begins.

What the sequence protects

The wet area is checked before glass is released.

Early inspection and final measurement protect clearances, hardware positions and sealing interfaces that cannot be corrected casually later.

01

Discuss

Review the bathroom layout, preferred access, privacy and desired framed or minimal appearance.

02

Inspect

Check finished tiles, curb, walls, floor fall, fittings, drain and safe clearances.

03

Configure

Choose hinged, sliding, fixed or corner arrangement and the direction of user movement.

04

Measure

Take final glass and framing dimensions after the relevant finishes are complete.

05

Prepare

Order or prepare glass and compatible framing or hardware to the confirmed layout.

06

Install

Fit, align and seal the enclosure, allow sealant to cure and explain cleaning and care.

Finish the wet area before final sizing

Tiles, curb, floor and adjacent sanitary fittings should be complete before fabrication measurements. Early photos are still useful for comparing possible layouts.

Clear answers

Shower Cubicles FAQs

Practical answers to common early-stage questions. Site-specific decisions are confirmed after review.

When should final measurements be taken?
Final measurement is best after tiles, curb, ceiling and adjacent finishes are complete, because small dimensional changes can affect glass and hardware fit.
Does a shower cubicle make the bathroom waterproof?
No. It helps contain normal shower spray, but the floor fall, drain, tile waterproofing, wall construction, seals and user direction all affect water management.
Should I choose framed or frameless?
The choice depends on the opening, support conditions, preferred appearance, maintenance expectations and budget. Jubili can recommend a feasible layout after inspection.
Can a shower door open inward or outward?
The safe and practical direction depends on hardware, access, emergency considerations, nearby fittings and the available swing area. It should be confirmed during layout planning.
How is the glass maintained?
Wipe the glass and hardware after use where practical, clean with non-abrasive products, keep tracks and seals free of residue, and replace worn seals when necessary.
